Product Description

The Vessel of Abundance (also known as the "Treasure Bowl") draws inspiration from the ancient Taoist philosophy of the "useful void", the idea that a vessel's power lies in its capacity to hold. Meticulously cast from solid brass, the exterior is sculpted with the renowned "Bai Fu" (Hundred Blessings) motif, featuring the character for "Fortune" (福) engraved in one hundred distinct traditional calligraphic styles.

Peering inside the basin reveals a hidden spiritual guardian: a relief sculpture of the Golden Toad (Jin Chan) sitting at the base. This three-legged mythical creature, known for attracting wealth, is positioned to symbolically guard the treasures accumulated within the bowl, capturing an aura of prosperity and endless accumulation.

Meaning and Significance

In Taoist and Feng Shui tradition, the Cornucopia (Ju Bao Pen) is a legendary artifact said to multiply whatever is placed inside it. The "Hundred Blessings" on the exterior symbolize a complete cycle of happiness, longevity, and good luck from all directions. The Golden Toad represents the active attraction of wealth, while the deep, hollow shape of the vessel signifies the Taoist wisdom of "Great Capacity", a mind and life open to receiving the universe's gifts. Together, this vessel becomes a potent charm for:

  • Accumulating Wealth & Assets (Gathering Qi)
  • Total Harmony & Blessings (The 100 Fu Characters)
  • Guarding Prosperity (The Golden Toad)

Whether placed on a desk to hold crystals and coins, or displayed as a standalone Feng Shui artifact, the Vessel of Abundance offers a fusion of calligraphy art, heavy metal craftsmanship, and metaphysical symbolism. A meaningful gift for those seeking financial stability, family harmony, and a life filled with "Fu" (Blessings).
